비가 온 뒤 아침을 열던 바다...

구글 어스에서 보기밤새 비가 내렸다.
아침에 일어났더니 구름 사이로 해가 조금씩 보이기 시작한다.
오늘은 오후 중에 Christchurch에 도착해야 한다.
목적지와 대략의 시간이 정해져 있는 만큼
어떤 길이 우리를 기다리고 있을지, 시간적으로 여유는 있을지 조금 걱정이 된다.
여행의 마지막 날이라는 아쉬움도 있고...
짐을 주섬 주섬 싼 후
마지막 날을 시작한다.
비가 내리는 늦은 밤에 도착한 Hokitika를 잠시 둘러보기로 하고 차를 출발시켰다.
동네 한 쪽 끝에 차들이 몇 대 세워져 있어서 잠시 멈춘다.
한 쪽에는 만년설이 덮힌 산과 풀밭이 보이고,
다른 한 쪽에는 강한 바람에 밀려오는 파도와 끝이 보이지 않는 바다가 있는 곳에서
간단하게 아침을 먹고 커피를 마신다.
