Day Seven - at the West Coast

비가 제법 많이 온다.
갈 길이 멀다.
하지만, 처음 본 뉴질랜드의 서쪽 바다는 날 놓아주지 않는다.
밀림과 수풀이 어우러진 기괴한 식물들,
검은색의 모래사장,
흩어져 있는 나무 파편,
우리를 삼킬 듯 끊임없이 달려드는 거센 파도,
그리고, 파도인지 비인지 알기 힘든 얼굴을 적시는 미세한 물방울
멍하게 서서 계속 쳐다본다.

해가 지기 전에 Fox Glacier에 도착할 수 있어야 할텐데...
